Evolution in the development of Yamaha ATVs has seen the introduction of fully automatic machines designed to further the ease of use, flexibility and performance for an increasing number of working applications. 
Yamaha's all-new YFM 400 FAWN Kodiak Automatic is the latest model to join the stable of four-wheel drive ATVs. Powered by a completely new 401cc four stroke, liquid-cooled Single Overhead Camshaft engine, the Kodiak Automatic features Ultramatic transmission with 'On Command' two and four wheel drive options. As with the bigger Grizzly, this latest automatic version offers the benefit of engine braking adding to the safety of four wheel traction, especially when traveling downhill or towing a heavy load. With a high and low range transmission for varying riding conditions, the Kodiak Automatic also has a 'Park Position' on the gear selector for additional security. With so many features and benefits this new automatic Kodiak will quickly become a class leading model .
